Mrs. Kara Fields, 66 of Crossett, AR, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a homemaker, and a co-pastor and member of Kingdom Builders Outreach Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Ruby Logan Kendrix, one brother, Franklin Simpson Carry. She loved her computer, crafts and she was an avid reader. She was a member of the Women's Progressive Club.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Eld. Hazie Wendell Fields, one daughter, Stacey Hill Reed of Crossett, AR, two step-sons, Mark Fields of Lackfield, AZ, Ray Fields of Los Angeles, CA, three sisters: Pearl Tate, husband Jimmy of Warren, AR, Martha Caldwell, husband Ricky and Dianne Kendrix, all of Crossett, AR, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Eld. Wendell Fields, officiating. Active pallbearers are Randy Boyd, Marcus Caldwell, Herbert Williams, James Adams, Robert Gilbert and Ricky Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Dominic Boyde and Tony Couser. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
