Miss Kandra Nicola Miles, 24 of Hamburg, AR, died Thursday, June 23, 2011 in a vehicle accident. She was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, a transportation driver escort for First Steps, a graduate of the Hamburg High School Class of 2005, and was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness.

Kandra was a very faithful member of her church and loved working very closely with the youth. She served dutifully in the choir, as singer and drummer. She also faithfully attended mid-week Bible study.

She is survived by her parents: Kay Lynn Simpson of Hamburg, AR, Carl Miles of Crossett, AR, two brothers: Chancey Martin of Hamburg, AR, Brian Miles, wife Venita of Crossett, AR, three sisters: Nicole Miles of Crossett, AR, Milissa Miles of Hamburg, AR & Michelle Miles of Little Rock, AR, two god-sisters: Bernard Davidson & Auzahne' Brown both of Hamburg, AR, and a host of family, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services are Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Eld. Robert Adams, Jr. and Rev. Willie R. Taylor, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 – 7:30 pm at Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness, 1117 Pine St., Hamburg, AR. Pallbearers are Courtney Rachal, Clarence Thornton, Keith Pippen, Alexander Harrington, Dan Smith & Zemarcus Mays. Honorary Pallbearers are Hamburg High School Class of 2005 and the staff of First Steps. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
