Mr. Joseph Edward Standridge, 81, of Heber Springs, AR, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Seven Springs Rehabilitation and Health Center.  He was a native of Scotland, AR, a former resident of Crossett and Hamburg, a farmer, and a former member of Cloverdale Assembly of God Church.

He is preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Syble Herringrton-Standridge; one brother, Raymond Wesley Standridge; and one sister Velma Jean Dobbs.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by one brother, Johnny Hoffman, of Amarillo, TX; one sister, Mary Louise Hamner, of Florida; two grandsons, Kenny Sandage, of Carson City, NV and Wayne Sandage, of West Monroe, LA; and one granddaughter, Mary Jo Sandage, of New Jersey.

Service will be Tuesday, December 18, 2018, 1:00 P.M., at Cloverdale Assembly of God in Crossett, AR, with Bro. James Herrington officiating. Burial at Crossroads Cemetery, under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 P.M., before the service.
