Mr. Johnny Ray "T-Bird" Todd, 66, of Crossett, AR died Sunday, June 30, 2019, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. He was a native of Hamburg, but raised in the Pine Hill Community, a retired truck driver, and a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Dan Wilson and Pearlie B. Carlock-Todd; and two infant brothers. Johnny was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, his grandchildren were the joy of his life. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, deer hunting, fishing, or just sitting around telling a few jokes.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia "Pat" Todd; six sons, Cottra Miles, of Crossett, AR, Danny Todd, wife Darlene, of Pipe Road, AL, Willie Smith, wife Shelly, of Crossett, AR, Jacob Smith, wife Tiffany, of Bastrop, LA, Jaq Miles, of Crossett, AR, and Perrell Hampton, of Houston, TX; two daughters, Laqueisea Oliver, husband Derrick, of Longview, TX, and Patricia Martin, of Crossett; one granddaughter, who was raised as a daughter, Andrea "Peaches" Miles, of Crossett, AR; two brothers, Willie Todd, wife Nellie, of Marshall, TX, and Terry Lee Todd, of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Diane Taylor, of Crossett, AR; twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Service will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019, 3:00 p.m., at New Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Radford, Rev. Harriel White, and Rev. Falana Hubbard officiating. Active Pallbearers are Larry Rogers, Curtis Harris, Lee Simpson, James Hampton, Jr., Clifford Hawkins, Jr., and Ronnie Gibbs. Honorary Pallbearers are Members of the Crooked Creek Hunting Club and Johnny's Angels. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019, 5:30-7:00 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
