Mr. Johnny Farriel Golden, age 83, of Crossett, AR, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation in Crossett. He was a lifelong resident of Ashley County, a retiree of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill and a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Bobbie Jean Skender-Golden (2014), his parents, Clyde and Malvia Woods-Golden, one brother, Edward Lee Golden (2012) and one sister, Clydean Carden. Mr. Golden was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by one daughter, Gail Golden-Williams of Crossett, AR; one brother: Jimmy Ray Golden wife Judy of Houston, TX; two grandchildren: Trey Ebarb and Tana Ebarb, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at North Crossett First Baptist Church, with Bro. Robin Allen, officiating. Pallbearers are Herman Johnson, Jimmy Golden, Trey Ebarb, Paul Skender, Mark Wallace and Danny Courson. Burial in Crossroads Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 10:00AM until service at the North Crossett First Baptist Church, 1035 Highway 133 N, Crossett, AR 71635.
