Johnnie Bell King, 91 of Crossett, AR, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at her residence in Crossett. She was a native of Warren, AR, but lived in Crossett for the past sixty five years, a retiree of the Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill, and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. King loved quilting, cooking, and fishing.
Preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland King, one son, Cleveland King, Jr., her parents Willie Morgan, and Pearl Ganner-Ridgell, one brother, Jacob Ridgell, and one sister, Willie Mae Hatton.
She is survived by four sons, Wardell King of Houston, TX, Kenneth King, wife Audrey of Coalinga, CA, Robert King of Crossett, AR, and Dewayne Franklin, wife Ardell of Stockton, CA, two daughters, Marsha Miller, and Magelene King-Moses both of Crossett, AR, one sister, Dorothy Green of San Jose, CA, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services is Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Jackson officiating. Pallbearers are Larry Roger, Hosie Brown, Robert Gilbert, Terrian Keys, Timothy Davis, and Charles Moore. Visitation is Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6-7:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
