Mr. John Larry Works, 54, of Hamburg, AR, died Friday, December 11, 2015 at Pine Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and worked as a Carpenter until he became disabled.

He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Works. He is a graduate of Hamburg High School Class of 1980. Larry was a devoted son, who loved people, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses, and riding his four-wheeler. He also loved listening to music and having a good time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Audry Mae Nicholson-Works, one special aunt, Joanne Nicholson of Little Rock, AR, six other aunts, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services are 11am, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Knight officiating. Pallbearers are Thomas Wilson, Chester Lark, Johnny Stanley, Walter Jenkins, Dan Smith, and John Ware. Honorary Pallbearers are Hamburg High School Class of 1980 and the Pippen Hunting Club. Burial at Phillip Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 6-8pm at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
