John Moses "Bo" Martin, age 81 of Crossett died Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his home in Crossett, AR. He was a native and lifelong resident of Crossett and a retiree of the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill where he worked as a Bleach Plant Machine Operator. He was a licensed barber and worked in a salon for over 40 years at Withers Barber Shop in Crossett. He continued cutting hair until his health declined. Mr. John Martin affectionately known as Bo Martin loved spending time with his family and friends. He liked watching westerns and playing dominoes.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Doris Wilson-Martin, a sister Earnestine Andrews, and a brother Virgil Martin Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Jacqueline Allen-Martin, a son Bernard "Pete" Martin, and a daughter Marjorie LaJune Martin Rogers husband Anthony. Six grandchildren: Jaylon Trevon Martin, Marliyah Abiana Murray-Martin, Kyndle Erica Thomas, Karsyn Allyn Thomas, Kaeden Garrett-Martin Thomas, and Kholbie Jahnee' Thomas, and one great grandchild Danyelle Bornslater. Mr. Martin leaves a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.

Graveside Services will be Saturday November 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery. Minister Falana Simpson-Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home Inc. Active Pallbearers are Edward Charles Brown, Colon Sims, Undra Reynolds, Chansolar Hollins, Fred Belin, and Curtis Boston Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Hendrix, Ronald Watson, Donald Baldwin, Leondras Simpson, Larry Rogers, Walter Hendrix, and Winfred Pugh.
