Mr. John Edward Danzy, 47 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a native of Cleveland, OH, was a former resident of Dallas, TX, but had resided in Crossett for the past 14 years. John was a former photo lab employee, and was a member of Davis Memorial Church of God In Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Danzy & his favorite hobby was weightlifting.

He is survived by his mother, Effie Simmons Danzy of Crossett, AR, four sons: Jonathan Danzy of Los Angeles, CA, Jermaine Wade of Crossett, AR, Chadrick Ellis of Arlington, TX & John Danzy, Jr. of Leeland, MS, two daughters: Vanessa Martinez of Dallas, TX & Joria Eman Danzy of Leeland, MS, two brothers, Robert Earl Danzy, wife Deloise of Dallas, TX & Mark Ellis Danzy of Crossett, AR, two sisters, Janna Elaine Jackson of Crossett, AR and Princess Lee Danzy of Pine Bluff, AR, and two grandsons, Chadrick Ellis II and Jaiden Ellis.

Funeral services are Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Davis Memorial Church of God In Christ with Supt. Robert G. Rudolph, Jr., officiating. Pallbearers are Rahmel King, Waymond Wade, Edrick Danzy, Charles Brown, Percell Freeman and Michael Block. Visitation is Friday September 21, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
