Mr. John Albert Claiborne, 60 of Wilmot, AR, died Thursday, April 24, 2009 at Lake Village Healthcare, Mr. Claiborne was a native of Ashley County, a former resident of Kansas City, KS, and a resident of Wilmot for the past 30 years. He was a former employee of the City of Wilmot, and a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Clayborne & Mae Francis Ford, three brothers: Joe, Robert & Lee O. Goston, and three sisters, Ora Lee Thomas, Lucille Clark & Patti Goston.

He is survived by two daughters: Brittany & Hillary Smith both of Parkdale, AR, six brothers: Jessie Chaufful of Seguin, TX, Fred Goston & Percy Doakes both of Kansas City, KS, Willie Ford, Jr., of Little Rock, AR, Lepolian Ford of Pine Bluff, AR & William (Debbie) Jackson of Wilmot, AR, and five sisters: Lucille Clark of Houston, TX, Donnie Ford of Kansas City, KS, Rosa Ford & Shellie Bobo both of Little Rock, AR & Inell (Calvin) Mayfield of Wilmot, AR.

Funeral services are Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Albert Fenceroy officiating. Pallbearers are J.C. Boldwin, Robert Kitchen, Calvin Duckery, Carl Rollins, Willie James Rollins & Arthur Penn. Honorary pallbearers are Cloman Evans, Calvin Mayfield, Curtis Hillard, Earl Moore, Carl Wilder & Lee Henry Smith. Burial in Second Baptist Cemetery.
