Joanne Jackson, 71 of Crossett, AR transitioned on July 3, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Thebes, AR in Ashley County and a resident of Crossett for many years. Joanne was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Crossett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sheridan Jackson, parents Leon and Dorothy Richardson Tolefree, three brothers, Alonzo Tolefree, Enus Tolefree, and Raymond Tolefree, one sister, Nancy Gammel. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and listening to music, her favorite being the Blues.

Joanne is survived by one son; Michael Brown and wife Leteisha of Little Rock; two daughters, Natasha Moore and husband Marcus, and Lakisha Brown both of Crossett, AR; one brother Larry Gammel of Dermott, AR; one sister, Betty Holmes of Rockford, IL; twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. A special friend Mr. Elijah Brown.

Funeral Service is Saturday July 12, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Westside Church of Christ with Bro. Kevin Ware officiating. Pallbearers are Allante Brown, DeaVontrio Brown, Devonte Jenkins, Brian Edmonds, Lamarkus Moore, and Edward "Chuck" Brown. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.

There will be no visitation.
