Mrs. Jo Etta Miller 59, of Lacey, AR died Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Junction City, AR but a resident of Lacey, AR for the past 20 years. She was a Health Service Specialist, and a deputy registrar for the Ashley County Department of Health in Hamburg, AR. She was a member of Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. She loved quilting, and was very fond of the aerobic exercise Zumba. Mrs. Miller loved her family and her church.

She was preceded in death by one son: Corey Charles; her parents: Rev. Willie Rogers and Louise Henderson Charles; and two brothers: Rev. Willie Rogers Charles, Jr. and John Charles.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years: Charlie Horace Miller of Lacey, AR; two daughters: Toyia Charles Comminey and husband Shawn of Baton Rouge, LA and Myia Miller of Lacey, AR; one brother: Rev. Edward Roland Charles and wife Patricia of Monroe, LA; two sisters: Ruth Evelyn Lawson and husband Bruce of Plains, NJ and Margaret Cyrus and husband William of Little Rock, AR; four grandchildren: Corey Charles, Jr., Shawn Comminey II, Margriona Miller, and Jahmeila Samuels; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 at 11:00A.M. at Holy Divine Church in Lacey, AR with Rev. Edward Roland Charles officiating. Active pallbearers are Rodney Larry, Jack Suber, Ephran Franklin, Edward Charles, Kevin Charles, Larry Rogers, Freddie Cann, Jr., and Kenny Junior. Honorary pallbearers are Horace Junior, Jerry Goodman, Bruce Lawson, Shawn Comminey, Jermaine Samuels, Carl Smith, William Cyrus, and Jimmie Welch. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6:00-8:00P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Pelium Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg, AR.
