Jimmie Lamar Washington, 55 of Crossett, AR, transitioned May 8, 2025, at his residence. He was a native of Monroe, LA, but a lifelong resident of Crossett. He was a member of Allen Temple CME Church, and a self-employed lawn care laborer.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lillian Denise Washington, one brother, Roderick D. Spencer, and maternal and paternal grandparents. He enjoyed fishing, and cooking on the grill. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of six years, Natasha Dixon Washington, one son, Michael Washington and one daughter Stephanie Dawson, his mother, Faye Pam and husband Jesse, his father Jimmie Ray Washington, his sister, Rekandria Leach and husband George, three grandchildren, LaDravin, Breshae', and Josiah all of Crossett, AR, and several other family members and friends.
Visitation is Friday, May 16, 2025, 6:00-7:00 at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday, May 17, 2025, 3:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Dr. with Rev. Tony Jones officiating. Pallbearers are Andre' Ellis, Glen Armstead, Tony Thompson, Craig Bunton, Anthony Phillips, and Dederick Warren. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Tharpe, Roderick Montgomery, Tyree Tharpe, Taqulan Wyatt, Orenzo Wyatt, and Marquise Spencer. Burial is in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
