Jim Kitchen, 79, of Wilmot, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Chicot Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Wilmot, but lived several years in California, a retired carpenter & construction worker, and a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Ella Stephenson Kitchen, & wife, Gladys Lucky Kitchen, his parents, Jim & Minnie Davis Kitchen, three sons, Joseph, Joshua & Sylvester Kitchen, two brothers, Earl & James Kitchen, two sisters, Maggie Thomas & Inez Westley.

He is survived by three sons, Frank & wife, Ino Kitchen of Winnsboro, LA, Thomas Kitchen of Santa Rosa, CA, & Leo Kitchen of Richmond, CA, three daughters, Remell Kitchen of Santa Rosa, CA, May Lillian "Mary & husband, Gene Smith of Santa Rosa, CA, & Hope Irene & husband, Lewis Harrison of Grand Prairie, TX, three brothers, Otis Kitchen of Little Rock, AR, Luther & wife, Leaster Kitchen of Santa Rosa, CA, & Wiley Kitchen of Dermott, AR, three sisters, Dorothy Kitchen Filmore of Gary, IN, Annie Lee Goree of Wilmot, AR, & Minnie Lou Kitchen of Milwaukee, WI, 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren & 12 gg-grandchildren.

Visitation is to be held Sunday, 4-5 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. Memorial services are Monday, November 23, 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wilmot with Rev. Lorenzo Price & Rev. James Crockett officiating. Pallbearers are Robert Kitchen, Billy Kitchen, Cleveland Parker, Nathaniel Whitaker, Eugene Thomas & Charles Kitchen. Remains are to be cremated. Arrangements were by Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
