Jim Cain Jr., "Big Jim", age 81 of Chicago, Il. died December 30, 2020 at Loretto Hospital in Chicago. He was a native of Lake Village, Ar. but a resident of Chicago, Il. for 51 years. He was a retired butcher and he was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Chicago, Il.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Velma Mae Miller-Cain, a brother Fudge "DiddyBo" Williams, sisters Louise Webb, Martha Jean Cain, "Jan. 2010", Alberta Cain Watts, Clementine Williams "Dec. 2010", Ruby Smith "Nov. 2016",
He is survived by a brother Rev. Tyler Cain "Jessie", of Conway, three sisters Jeraldine Tucker and Evlynen Kirkendolph both of Lake Village, Ar., Linda Rose Cain of Eudora, Ar., two special nephews Robert Cain and Charles Brooks both of Chicago, Il. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends to whom he will be dearly missed.
Graveside Services will be Saturday January 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the New Cemetery in Lake Village, Ar. with the Reverend Tyler Cain officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: Quintin Tyler Cain, Maurice Norman, Robert Reginald Cain, James Daniel Cain, Patrick Cain, Gary Bernard Smith, Marcus Green, Fabian Edward Cain, Charles Albert Brooks, Matthew Edward Smith, Norman Lorenzo Tucker, Willie Douglas Patton, Enos Davis Hamilton, Vincent Earl Tucker, Finnis Lee Williams, Gregory McCree, Wilbert Gentry III, Jessie Ray Williams. Burial will follow in the New Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home.
