Mrs. Jewelene Jones, 81, of Dermott, AR, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  She was a native of Tiller, AR, a homemaker, and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one son, Fredrick Jones; one daughter, Beverly Denise Jones; her father, Brian Hudspeth; her mother, Annie Phillips-Baines; two brothers, Rev. Wilton Baines and James Baines; and one sister, Margaret Lathan.  Mrs. Jones was a devoted mother to her children and was a very compassionate person, who loved to visit and be around people.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Jones, companion Sharon Tyler, of Dermott, AR; two sisters, Darlene Porter, husband Robert, of Conroe, TX and Grenda Campbell, husband Willie, of Monticello, AR; one brother, Rufus Hudspeth, wife Judy, of Little Rock, AR; one aunt, Jessie Mae Phillips, of Dermott, AR; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Funeral Service will be 11 am Friday, December 6, 2019 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church,  119 N. Knox St. Dermott, AR with Rev. Doran A. Newhouse officiating.  Burial in Little Zion Cemetery in Baxter, AR.

Visitation will be from 10-11 am Friday at the church.
