Jessie Lee Williams age 84 Crossett died Sunday, July 24, 2022, at his home. He was a native of McGehee, Arkansas but a resident of Crossett for the last 77 years. He was a machine operator at the Georgia Pacific Board Mill and a member of Gates Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents Alfonza and Carrie Lee Brown-Williams, and his grandmother Janey Hampton-Husky.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty Allen-Williams, and son Lawrence Maurice Williams wife Yolanda, Eight grandchildren Bryan, Ashley, Nicole, Raven, Rachel, Ashlie, Khalia, and Kaylon. Seven great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday at 11AM at the West View Cemetery. The Reverend Harriel D. White officiating. Burial will follow at West View Cemetery. Pallbearers Donnie Ray Canley, Roy L. Curtis, Aaron Harris, Tashun Barnes, San Juan Davis, and Robert C. Miller. Honorary Pallbearers, T.W. Daniel High School Class of 1957, and Men of Gates Chapel AME Church.
