Mr. Jessie Parker, 99 of Wilmot, AR, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. Mr. Parker was a native of Ashley County, AR, a Wilmot resident, a retired mechanic & a member of John Wesley AME Zion Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Hall Parker, one son, H.T. Taylor, his parents, Dan Parker & Johnnie Hicks Parker, four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by one daughter, Myrtle Watt of Wilmot, AR, one sister, Willie Jo Payne of Alameda, CA, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM at John Wesley AME Zion Church with Rev. Harold Shaw, officiating. Pallbearers are Andrew Metcalf, Justin Haynes, Charles Raino, Curtis Hilliard, Billy Kitchen & Lorenzo Woods. Burial in Second Baptist Cemetery.
