Obituary

Mr. Jesse Eugene Skinner, 69, of Lake Village, AR, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Village, a retiree of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, and was a member of the Zion Temple Church of God In Christ. He was a US Army veteran who served proudly in the Vietnam Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Ethel Hayden Skinner and one brother, Charles Edward Skinner.

He is survived by one daughter, Carla Riley-Burnett, husband Rickey of Spring, TX, two brothers, Sherman Skinner, Jr., and Gerbert Ray Skinner both of Alton, IL, five sisters: Rosa Matthews of Matteson, IL, Marilyn Owens, husband Noah of Country Club Hills, IL, Patricia Ann Bell of Lake Village, AR, Donna Hoskins, husband Wendell of Sumter, SC, Jacqueline Johnson, husband James of Ft. Worth, TX, two grandchildren, Latachee Riley, Richard Burnett II and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Zion Temple Church of God In Christ with Eld. Charles Taylor, officiating. Active pallbearers are James Earl Harden, Charles E. Skinner, Jr., Curtis Hayden, Omion Bell, Garland Rogers, Kenny Johnson, Carl Young and James Adams. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Bolden, Johnny Graham, Wardell Jackson, Calvin Coleman, Herman Tolliver and Raymond Smith. Burial in Woodson Temple Cemetery.
