Mr. Jesse Lee Cook, Jr., 76 of Crossett, AR, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his home. He was a native of Hamburg, AR, a former 30 year resident of Oakland, CA, and a resident of Crossett for the past few years.
He was a retired construction worker, a member of Living Word C.O.G.I.C. and was a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee and Roxie Anna Robinson Cook, two brothers: Jimmy Joe and Sam Cook, and one sister, Annie Lou Cook. Jesse was an amazing musician who loved playing the organ.
He is survived by one son, Jason Cook of Los Angeles, CA, one daughter, Bridgette Cook of Oakland, CA, one sister, Mattie Lou Tucker of Hamburg, AR, one brother, Joe Henry Cook of Malvern, AR and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at Living Word C.O.G.I.C. with Bishop Joe Mason, officiating. Active pallbearers are Deacons of Living Word C.O.G.I.C. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Tucker, Myron Tucker, Antonio L. Tucker, Addison M. Tucker, Gary Brumfield, Alf Freddie Tucker and Marvin Walters. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
