Jerry Clarence Wade, 71 of Hamburg, AR, transitioned Saturday, October 19, 2024, at his home.  He was a native of Wilmot, AR, a carpenter by trade, and a member of Phillip Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Priest O'neal and Mallie Harris Wade, three brothers, Priest Wade Jr., William, and Charles Albert Wade (2005), four sisters, Murphy Jacobs, Marzell Watson, Mary Ola Jackson, and Elizabeth Ann Cooper, and a niece, Veronica Watson.  Jerry loved being around people and was willing to help anyone that needed help, whether it was repairing a building, doing yard work, or cutting down a tree.  He was loved much by the children in his church.

He is survived by three nephews, Gregory Watson of Houston, TX, Rodney Wade of Crossett, AR, and Curtis T. Gilbert of Pine Bluff, AR, four nieces, Terri LaNetti Love of Monroe, LA, LaPrell Mollette Wade of Westminister, CO, Monda Wade and Miranda Smedley both of Crossett, AR, and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.

Viewing is 1:00-5:00 Friday, November 1, 2024, at Cromwell Funeral Home.  Funeral service is Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Phillip Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Horace Ingram officiating. Pallbearers are Gregory A. Watson, Curtis T. Gilbert, Joshua G. Love, Fredrick O. Wade, Brandon C. Wade, and Christian Kidd.  Burial in Phillip Grove Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
