Jerry Donald Deal, age 77 of Hamburg passed away on Monday May 31, 2021 at the Woods of Monticello Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a native of Hamburg, a retired CNA and a member of First Baptist Church in Hamburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents Abner Guy and Alice Louise Jones- Deal, two brothers Harold Deal and James Deal, three sisters infant Donna Sue Deal, Sybil Ogden Hutts and Jolaine Crouch. Jerry worked as a CNA and always said he treated his patients the way he wanted to be treated. Jerry loved the Lord and enjoyed being with his thirteen nieces and nine nephews who were very special to him. Jerry also had a love for dogs and operated the Deal Grocery Store years ago.

He is survived by three sisters Linda Stevenson and Martha Pennington(Bruce) both of Hamburg and Rose Mary Martin of Monticello.

Graveside service will be Thursday, June 03, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Hamburg Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Pennington officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Ogden, Todd Kelley, Jeff Pennington, Mack Pennington, Barry White, Ronnie Hopper. There will be a visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.
