Mr. Jerome Laquinne Caldwell, 25 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia, AR. He was a native of Crossett, AR, was a former four year resident of Gurdon, AR and had resided in Crossett for the past six years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Dean Caldwell, his paternal grandfather, William Caldwell and his maternal grandmother, Kathryn Hubbard. Jerome was a graduate of the Gurdon High School Class of 2006 and he enjoyed rapping.
He is survived by his mother, Charlene Denise Henderson of Crossett, AR, one son, LaBralon Caldwell of Gurdon, AR, one daughter, Naudia Caldwell of Hot Springs, AR, four brothers: Micah Henderson, Quentin Caldwell and Brandon Bryant all of Crossett, AR & Cedrick Caldwell of Warren, AR, four sisters: Khalia Miller, Keandra Caldwell and Cherrelle Caldwell all of Crossett, AR & Shunkeyta Norwood of Louisiana, his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Caldwell of Crossett, AR, his maternal grandfathers, Jimmy Hubbard of Crossett, AR and Linwood Johnson of Ohio, her maternal great-grandmother, Tressie Cromwell of Highland, CA, a special friend, Zakesha Washington, and a host of other family, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:30 pm at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Adkins officiating. Active pallbearers are X-Zavion Gilliam, Todd Norman, Tony Brooks, Kentrell Green, Jerome Pollen & Charles Bryant. Honorary pallbearers are his brothers and the Gurdon High School Class of 2006. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
Visitation Friday, December 7, 2012 from 6-7 pm at Faith Center Church, 300 N. Louisiana Street, Crossett, AR.
