Janice Orlean Fisher, age 71 of Monticello, AR transitioned on Thursday April 4, 2024, at Baptist Health Medical Center Drew County in Monticello. She was a native of Fountain Hill, AR, and a member of Bethel AME Church in Fountain Hill. Ms. Fisher was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant.

She was preceded in death by her parents Venollie (1956), and Helen Miller-Fisher (2009), sister Wanda Jean Fisher (1957), and nephew Eric Woods (2020). Janice was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, shopping, and going to garage sales.

She is survived by one son: Ramone Fisher of Monticello, AR, three daughters, Rhonda Fisher of Monticello, AR, Rosalind McQuay of Lawrenceville, GA, Raven Yarbrough of Monticello, AR, three brothers, Johnny Fisher of Chester, TX, Venollie Fisher, Jr wife Fannie of Banks, AR, Vernon Fisher wife Debra of Hamburg, AR, two sisters; Loretta Woods of Fountain Hill, AR, and Georgia Hill Thompson of Lawrenceville, GA, two grandchildren; Malik Miller of Lawrenceville, GA and Austin Yarbrough of Monticello, AR, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Friday April 12, 2024,11:00 A.M. at Bethel AME Church in Fountain Hill, AR with Rev. Shalane Jenkins officiating. Pallbearers are Milton Johnson, Jr., Bobby Hill II, Kedric Woods, Matthew Hill, Aaden Franklin, and Vernon Fisher, Jr. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery in Monticello, AR, under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc of Hamburg.
