Mrs. Idell Dainkins, 74, of Queens, New York died Wednesday, June 5, 2019.  She was native of Hamburg, AR, a resident of Queens, New York for over 49 years, and a retiree from the United States Postal Service after 42 years of service.

She is preceded in death by husband, Dorthus C. Dainkins; her parents, George W. and Irma M. Haynes-Grayson; five sisters, Rebecca Hughes, Georgia Ruth Grayson, Maybelle Langford, Jean Olds, and Erma Jean Grayson; and two brothers, Johnny L. Grayson and Jerry W. Grayson.  Idell loved gardening, sewing, and cooking.  Her greatest joy came from helping others.

She is survived by one daughter, Angela Bethea, husband DeJuan, of Crossett, AR; one son, Eric Dainkins, of Greenbelt, Maryland; one sister, Idia Mae Mason, of Hamburg, AR; one brother, George W. Grayson, Jr.; a special sister-in-law, Lucinda Pitts, of Queens, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 16, 2019, 3:00 p.m.,  in the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. DeJuan Bethea officiating.  Burial in Phillip Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 16, 2019, 1-3:00 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
