Ms. Ida Mae Hayes, age 83, of Crossett, AR died Tuesday, March 15 , 2022 at the Somerset Senior Living Facility in Crossett, AR. She was a native of Portland, AR. She was a Retired Machine Operator at Georgia Pacific Papermill and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Crossett, AR.

She is preceded in death by her son James Woods; daughter Mary Curtis; her parents George and Doris Hemingway-Williams; Two brothers Sammie Williams, Andrew Williams, Three sisters Georgia Johnson, Mary Jean Hughes-Wilkins and Mammie Williams. Ms. Hayes enjoyed cooking, playing dominoes, shopping, and going to church.

She is survived by her Three sons Charles Woods, wife Earnestine of Lake Providence, La, Clarence Culbreath of Crossett, AR, Terrence Curtis of Baton Rouge, La; Three sisters Dorothy Smith, Husband Melvin of Little rock, AR, Lillie Brown, Husband Troy of Portland, AR; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20 ^th at Westview Cemetery in Crossett, AR with Rev. Murlee Carter officiating.

Burial to follow at Westview Cemetery.

Viewing starting at 1:00-5:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel.
