Mr. Hosey Lee Brown, 70, of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his home. He was a native of Wilmot, AR, but had resided in Crossett for the past 53 years. He was a retiree of G-P Papermill, and a member of Union Baptist Church in Wilmot.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Emma Carter, his parents, Willie and Dora Smith Brown, five brothers, Willie Jr., Lee Edward, Tommy, Calvin & Johnny Mack Brown and one sister, Janie Mae Robinson.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathay Clark Brown, seven sons: Ricky Brown of Springfield, MO, Geryle Brown, wife Constance, Willie Brown of Crossett, AR, Sean Brown of Crossett, AR, Toney Brown of Bastrop, AR, Delvin Ashford & Darrius Ashford both of Crossett, AR, six daughters: Deborah Lawrence, husband Kendrick, Marie Hill, husband Steve, Shirley Bonnet, husband Ricky, Tonya Brown and Angela Lewis, husband Ricky, all of Crossett, AR, Shawnyetta Ashford of Dallas, TX, three brothers: Billy Ray Brown, wife Dorothy of Crossett, AR, Donnie Brown of Wilmot, AR, and Donald Brown, wife Debra of Eudora, AR, four sisters: Mary McAdoo & Carolyn Stanley both of Wilmot, AR, Daisey Stokes of Los Angeles, CA, Gerdie Goodwin, husband Kenneth of Gary, IN, thirty-one grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David Green & Rev. Jesse Radford, Jr., officiating. Active pallbearers are Larry Rogers, Claudell Clark, Walter Hendrix, Larry Waters, Curtis Hilliard & Curtis Harris. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons and trustees of Union Baptist Church in Wilmot. Burial in Westview Cemetery.

Visitation Sunday, November 1 from 5-6:30 pm in the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel.
