Mrs. Helen Mitchell-Lewis, 62 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, AR. She was a native of Portland, AR, and a resident of Fayetteville. She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her grandson William O'Bryan Woods, her parents, Handy Mitchell, Mamie Ann Avery Robinson and Henry Robinson, three brothers: Henry Robinson, Jr., Glen Roy Robinson and Steve Robinson, two sisters, Anita Polite & Charlene Mitchell-Hall and a special niece, Tabitha T. Dawson.
She is survived by four daughters: Beverly A. McDaniel, Mamie Renay Robinson, Lakeshia S. Bealer, husband Larry, all of Fayetteville, AR, Khe-Shun Robinson-Henry, husband Stephan of Centerton, AR, four grandchildren, Courtney S. Woods, Ryan S. Marshall, Shunissia D. Davis of Fayetteville, AR and Tyler J. Robinson of Centerton, AR, her step-mother, Lillie M. Mitchell of Racine, WI, four sisters: Ruthie L. Robinson, Juanita Gillis, husband Edward and Linda Dawson, husband Raymond all of Montrose, AR, Every "Connie" Jenkins, husband Jonathan of Bossier City, LA, two brothers, George Robinson, wife Carol of Kansas City, KS, Warren Mitchell, wife Victoria of Racine, WI and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
Funeral services are Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Central Community Baptist Church, 402 Annex Street, Lake Village, AR with Pastor Curtiss Smith & Rev. Arthur Haney officiating. Pallbearers are Charles Bynum, Jesse Mitchell, Ian Williams, Charles Woods, Eddie Mitchell, Sammie L. Polite, Sr., Wayne Williams and Larry Woods. Burial in Portland Number Two Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
Visitation Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 6-7 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
