Mrs. Helen Blakley, 83 of Crossett, AR, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Blakley was a native of Eagle Mills, AR, but a resident of Crossett for the past 60 years, a homemaker, and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Will Howard Blakley, three daughters: Johnnie Holloway, Joyce Webb & Jerry Blakley, three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Will Jr. & Luther Ray Blakley, one daughter, Mittie Ree Hawkins all of Crossett, AR, three sisters: Naomi Raibon Mary D. Cone and Doris Garrod all of Eagle Lake, AR, nine grandchildren she raised: Cedric Blakley, Cassandra Ridgell, Janice Tharpe, Bobby Webb, Jr., Yolanda Williams, Charles B. Bryant, Eddie Hawkins, Jr., Natalie Blakley & Pamela Jarrett and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 1:00 PM at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Radford, Jr., officiating. Visitation Friday, May 22, 2009 from 5 - 6:30 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Eddie Hawkins, Sr., William Simmons, Larry Martin, Michael Brown, Carl Miles & Joe Louis Washington. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
