Obituary

Mr. Hayward Bennis Hollins, 76, of Crossett, AR died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at his home in the White Station Community.  He was a native of Mer Rouge, LA, a retired forklift driver at Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill, and a member of Holly Grove Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Minnie Dixon-Hollins; two brothers, Tim and Howard Hollins; one sister, Dorothy Harris.  Hayward enjoyed joking around, singing Gospel, doing carpentry work, and going to church.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lurlene Tucker-Hollins; three sons, Calvin Hollins, of Los Vegas, NV, Reggie Tucker and Savon Tucker, both of Crossett, AR; two daughters, Cassandra Mills, of Crossett, AR and Kim Hollins, of Bastrop, LA; one brother, Levi Hollins Jr., of Las Vegas, NV; four sisters, Mildred Maddox, of El Dorado, AR, Naomi Johnson, of Florida, Annie Johnson, of Chicago, IL, and Gladys Thompson, of Bastrop, LA; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Service will be Monday, February 18, 2019, 1:00 P.M., at Ryles Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, with Bro. Jesse Radford, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers are Julius Gibbs, Patrick Washington, Doyle Tucker, Devon Tucker, Casey Cason, and Gene Tucker.  Burial in Ryles Cemetery.
