Obituary

Harry Leron Cole, 64 of Wilmot, AR transitioned October 13, 2024 at Wrightsville, AR. He was a native of Wilmot, a retired insurance agent, and a member of St. Peter Baptist Church in Eudora, AR.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Cole, parents, Joseph 'JC' Slack and Jessie Mae Heard, two brothers, Ricky Cole and Billy Heard, and a sister Beverly Heard.  Harry loved going to church, drawing, reading, fishing and talking to relatives and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Idella Brown of Fayetteville, AR, four sons, Clemel and wife Aundrea Penn of Little Rock, AR, Latrell Brown, Monterrance Brown and Terrance Brown all of Fayetteville, AR, five daughters, Christina and husband Jerome Cheatham of Perris, CA, Tameica Penn of Wilmot, AR, Julia Cole of Little Rock, AR, Dasha Flanagan of Eudora, AR, and Nkirowfe Cole of Crossett, AR, two brothers, Nathaniel Cole of Monroe, LA, and Derrell Heard of Largo, MD, three sisters, Sandrual Cole of Wilmot, AR, Julia and husband Patrick Gaston of District Heights, MD, and Shirley Slack of Windsor, CA, sixteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Funeral service is Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Wilmot, AR with Rev. David Jackson officiating. Pallbearers are Antonio Harden, Roosevelt Jones III, Charles Raino, Jerry Gaston, Latrell Brown, and Terrance Brown.  Honorary pallbearers are Jae-lon Cheatham, Jerome Cheatham, Nathan Cole, Darrell Heard, Jaeden Cheatham, and Patrick Gaston.  Burial in St. Martha Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
