Mr. Gregory Lavell Richards, 57 of Jacksonville, AR, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock, AR. He is a native of Hamburg, AR, a resident of Jacksonville for the past 35 years, a retired Truck Driver, a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is preceded in death by his father Louis James Richards (June 1993). Gregory enjoyed fishing, working on cars and music.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years Rose Willis-Richards, his loving mother: Mrs. Hazel Mae Richards of Hamburg, AR; one son: Louis James Richards of Jacksonville, AR; two daughters: Verdell Richards of Jacksonville, AR; Latasha Meadows of Hot Springs, AR; one step-son: Dale White, wife Linda of Ward, AR; two brothers: James Earl Richards, wife Marilyn of Lake Village, AR; Benjamin Richards of Memphis, TN; one sister: Sharon Richards of Monroe, LA; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of other family and friends.

Services are 11:00AM Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness with Pastor Danotony Square, officiating. Pallbearers are Willie Mays, Curtis Tolliver Jr., John Ware, Mickey Tolbert, David Richardson and Burlin Ware. Burial in Carlock Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5:30PM-7:30PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
