Mr. Grady Rich Cameron, 86 of Mount Ida, AR, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. He was a native of Ashley County, AR, a resident of Mount Ida, AR for the past 25 years and a retired Machine Tender at Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Crossett, AR.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 17 years Nina June Cameron; his parents, Ed and Stella Campbell-Cameron; stepsister, Leona; and stepbrother, Clinton Cameron. Grady was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and skiing.
He is survived by a very special granddaughter/caregiver, Candy Caine-DeVault, husband David of Mount Ida, AR; two daughters: Faye McCracken, husband Roger; Vicky Shirley, husband Mike; one son: Buddy Cameron, wife Teresa, all of Crossett, AR; two stepsons: Jimmy Tew; James Tew, wife Jodean; all of Crossett, AR; three stepdaughters: Jean Caine, husband Dale of Snyder, AR; Jill Tew of Camden, AR; Sandra White, husband Allen of Crossett, AR; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Services are 2:00PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jack Naron and Billy Williams, officiating. Pallbearers are Charlie Smith, Heath Cameron, Scott Smith, Jason Cameron, Mike Shirley and Danny Kennedy. Honorary Pallbearers are Dale Caine, Zach Caine, David DeVault, Danny Lepheiw, and Wendall Reed. Burial in Old Troy Cemetery in Drew County, AR.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 5:30PM-7:30PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
