Glenda Gail Gilliam, 42 of Crossett, AR transitioned on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a member of Phillip Grove Baptist Church, and a former restaurant manager.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Robinson, maternal grandfather, Eddie Gilliam, stepfather, Clayton Edmonds, paternal grandparents, Bee & Georgia Mae Dugar Robinson, and her sister Valarie Edmonds Spencer. Glenda enjoyed cooking, singing, and watching football. Her favorite team was the LSU Tigers.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Jamie Gilliam of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Cedreana Gilliam of Crossett, AR, one brother, Vincent Edmonds (Janene) of Georgia, seven sisters, Bridgett Gilliam, Alecia Robinson Miller (Mark), and Desiree Gilliam all of Crossett, AR, Kaliyah Robinson of Hamburg, AR, Vickie Edmonds and Venetra Edmonds both of Bastrop, LA, and Vanessa Edmonds of Texas, a sister in love, Shameka Childress, a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2026 from 5:00-6:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Phillip Grove Baptist Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Horace Ingram officiating. Active pallbearers are Mitchell Rhodes, Nathaniel Rhodes, Antoine Swift, Taqualen Watkins, Sinclair Ervy, and Dexter Ingram. Honorary pallbearers are Lamonte Gilliam, Antonio Gilliam, Denzel Watkins, and Xavian Gilliam. Burial in Phillip Grove Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
