Mrs. Gladys Moore, 78 of Crossett, AR died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Oak Woods Home for the Elderly in Mer Rouge, LA. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, AR, was a retired CNA nurse for the Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Moore, parents, Joe and Alsena Pumphery Moore, two brothers, Jewell Adams, and Joseph Moore, one sister, Rachelle Murray, and husband Rufes Murray. Mrs. Gladys loved walking, reading her bible daily, and her family was very important to her and she was considered a neighborhood mom because of the children that stayed at her home.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Moore, wife Deborah, and Stevie Moore both of Crossett, AR, one brother, Andrew Moore of Los Angeles, CA, one sister, Catherine Foster, husband Johnnie of Toledo, OH, one sister-in-law, Geneva Moore of Crossett, AR, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Radford officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2011 from 6-7:00 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Joey Moore, Tyrone Moore, Bobby Moore Jr., Marcus Moore, Andre Moore, and Darrion Walker. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
