Mrs. Gladest "Domitchell" Wimberly, 84, of Crossett, AR died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Pinewood Nursing Home in Crossett. Mrs. Wimberly was a native of Oakland, LA, but had resided in Crossett for the past 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Center Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wimberly, her parents Owen & Florence Everett Henry, eight brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by four sons: Leslie Scott, Jr. of Crossett, AR, Otis Wimberly of Northridge, CA, Matthew Wimberly of East Los Angeles, CA & Monoleato Modisett of Conway, AR., four daughters: Katherine, husband Cornell Mitchell of Dermott, AR, Theresa Williams and Tamara Thompson both of Crossett, AR and Vickie Black of Monroe, LA, three brothers: Eugene Henry & Gene Murphy Henry both of Gourdon, Ar, and Abraham Henry of Flint, MI., two sisters, Dallas Bohanon of Milwaukee, WI and Glemenne Kounty of Hot Springs, AR, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grand children & 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Center Church with the Rev. Charles Adkins officiating.
Pallbearers are Ray Martin, Danny Martin, Chris Smith, Antonio People, Robert Scates, Robert Williams & Aubrey Tate. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons, nephews & cousins.
Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, LA under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home.
