Mrs. Gertrude Jackson Brock, 65 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, February 16, 2015 in Lake Village resulting from a vehicle accident. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a retiree of Pilgrim's Pride and was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Winchester, AR.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Keodrick Tyree Hampton, her parents, Sheridan & Robie Wimberly Jackson, one brother, Rufus "Prune" Minnieweather and two sisters, Willie Mae & Thelma Jean Hampton. Gertrude enjoyed fishing and walking.

She is survived by three sons: Rev. Tracy Hampton, wife Della of Winchester, AR, Terry Hampton & Billy Joe Hampton of Crossett, AR, two daughters, Janice Hampton & Tamekka Hampton both of Bastrop, LA, two brothers, Sherman Jackson of Crossett, AR, John Wesley Swine of Perris, CA, four sisters: Christina Dupree & Fatina Jackson both of Crossett, AR, Ruth Matthews, husband Earl of Detroit, MI, Mary Putillo, husband Roosevelt of Toledo, OH, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Witherspoon, officiating. Pallbearers are Willie Farmer, R.L. Farmer, Lamar Hampton, Johnny Hampton, Roy Hampton & Leonard "Cain" Webb. Burial in Westview Cemetery.

Visitation Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 6-7 pm in the chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home.
