Mr. Gerald Ralph Harrington, 78 of Crossett, AR died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Crossett, AR. He was a retired mechanic from Hafco, Inc. and a member of Second Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Harrington and his parents: Abner Morris and Francis "Fannie" Barnett Harrington; four brothers: Curtis, Robert, Amon, and Ray Harrington; and one sister: Syble Standridge.

He is survived by one daughter: Debbie Pepper and husband David of Crossett, AR; two brothers: Edward and Billy Joe Harrington both of Crossett, AR; six sisters: Estell Chandler, Frances Blissett, and Essie Meyer all of Crossett, AR, Jessie Harry of Bogalusa, LA, Rosie White of North Little Rock, AR, and Reathe Laws of Harrison, AR; two grandchildren: Matt Pepper and wife Hailey and Miki Pepper; one great grandchild: Brent Pepper; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 2:30P.M. at Second Baptist Church in Crossett, AR with Bro. Clay Courson and Bro. Travis Roberts officiating. Active pallbearers are Bill Boyer, Thomas Glenn Childers, James Harrington, Josh Parrott, Frank Dolan, and Keith Harrington. Honorary pallbearers are John Surratt, John Key, TalBort Surratt, and Charlie Parrott. Visitation will be Saturday, December 25, 2010 from 4:00-8:00P.M. at Second Baptist Church in Crossett, AR. Interment will be at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
