Mrs. Georgia Wilson, 78 of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the AR Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was a Kansas City, MO native, but had resided in Crossett for the past 11 years, was a homemaker and was a member of Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. Preceding her in death were two sons: Alex & Richard Wilson, one daughter, Ruby Thompson one grandson, Teidyn Walker and her parents: Roosevelt & Mary Washington Brown. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed sewing and fishing.
She is survived by four sons: Pierce Thompson, wife Barbara, John Wilson, wife Doris all of Greenville, MS, Johnny Thompson & Obadiah Jones both of Kansas City, MO, three daughters: Georgia Miller and Samantha Wilson both of Kansas City, MO, Mary Wilson of Crossett, AR, four brothers: Roosevelt Brown, Jr. Elbert Brown & Henry Brown all of New Orleans, LA, Roy Frank Washington, wife Erma of Hollandale, MS, two sisters, Rosie Mae Birge & Elease Holton both of Cleveland, MS, forty-three grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Eld. Robert G. Rudolph Jr., officiating. Pallbearers are Larnell Thompson, Billy Ray Mays, Jr., Arthur Walker IV, Billy Ray Mays, Sr., Kenny Russell & Earnest Cromwell, Jr. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
