Obituary

Mr. Frankie Dwight Weaver, Sr., 58, of Crossett, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Ashley County Medical Center. He was a native of Boise City, OK, but a resident of Crossett for the past 57 years. He was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict, he served in the 162nd battalion, where his duty was helicopter door gunner, and he was 32nd degree Mason of Crossett Lodge 576.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Alice Estes Weaver. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah Funderburg Weaver; two sons, Frankie Weaver and wife, Brenda, and Timothy Allen Weaver and wife, Cindy Brooks-Weaver, all of Crossett; two sisters, Patsy Stewart of Hermitage and Freddie Ann Sharp of Crossett; and four grandchildren, Sonni Deb Weaver, Toney Weaver, Wesley Weaver, and Chelsey Reed.


Funeral services were Thursday, January 28, 2 p.m., in the Chapel at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. with Father George Hart and Bro. Kenneth Watt officiating.
Pallbearers are Lamar Vestal, Bryan Dodd, Joe Teutsch, Than Cope, James Robbins, and Brett Chambers. Honorary pallbearers are all Masons. Remains are to be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Arkansas Children's Hospital, Disabled Veterans of America, and the Crossett Masonic Lodge #576.
