Mr. Frankie Gene Johnson, 54 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at his home. He was born on June 17, 1960 in Dermott, AR, and was a disabled roofer and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Johnson and his step-father, Walter Grayson. Frankie enjoyed hanging out with friends, listening to music and watching old westerns on TV. He was also a football fan, and he loved watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys play.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Grayson, two brothers, Calvin Johnson & Detonio Grayson of Crossett, AR, seven sisters: Shirley Scott (Rev. Marvin), Sharon Kaye Johnson, Vivian Langford all of Crossett, AR, Fredonia Breathitt (David) of Springdale, AR, June Martin of Dallas, TX, Minnie Grayson & Lillie Givins both of Milwaukee, WI, a special friend, Angie Jacob and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral services are Friday, September 26, 2014 at 1:00 pm at New Bethel Missionary Baptist With Pastor Jesse Radford, Jr., officiating. Pallbearers are Lawrence Tucker, Robert Williams, Ricky Brown, Billy Ray Brown, Jimmy Tate, Jr. and Raymond Clark. Honorary pallbearers are the Crossett High School Class of 1979. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
