Faye Dean Carruth, 79 of Montrose ( Snyder Community), AR passed Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Dermott City Nursing Home in Dermott, AR.  She was a native of Little Rock, AR, but lived most of her life in Snyder.  She was a member of Montrose Baptist Church, and a former employee of Hamburg Shirt Factory having worked there for over twenty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Clay and Exie Irene Harbor Miles, three brothers, Johnny Elmer, James Donald, and Jerry Wayne Miles, and a grandson, Derek Michael Nichols.  Faye enjoyed being outside working in her yard or going fishing.  She loved to visit with people.  She also enjoyed going to rummage sales and junk stores.  She often sat with people and cleaned houses.  Her greatest joy was her grandsons.

She is survived by one son, Craig Elmer Nichols and wife Carolina of Snyder, AR, two sisters, Linda Kaye Freeman and Shirley Jean Johnson both of Montrose, AR, a grandson, Kaleb G. Nichols, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service is Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside at Snyder Cemetery with Bro. Carlton White officiating.  Burial in Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas
