Faither Mae White, age 91, of Montrose, AR passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Chicot Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Boydell, AR but resided in Montrose for 55 years. She was a homemaker and member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Boydell, AR.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lee Otis White (2002); three sons Theofice White (2015), Jackie Wayne White (2019), Willie White (2021); parents Frank and Hattie Mae West; three brothers M.C., Roland, and Frank West; two sisters Marie White and Betty Jean Henry.

Mrs. White was a compassionate and soft-spoken lady. She was renown for her generosity and love for the community.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. She loved her church and was a devoted grandmother.

She is survived by two sons Robert White of Montrose, AR and Otis (Dorothy) White of Detroit, MI; three daughters Mary Ann White of Pasadena, Ca, Mae Katherine Briggs of Maumelle, AR, and Evelyn Webb of Russellville, AR; two brothers Cleo (Bobby) West of Pasadena, CA, and L.C. (Agnes) West of Cleveland, OH; one sister Lula Wilkins of Boydell, AR; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Services 11:00 AM Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Christ Community Center in Dermott, AR with Minister Charles Graham officiating. Pallbearers Larry Woods, Don Peoples, Stacey Kennedy, Cameron McCullough, Andre McCoy, and Nathan Simon. Honorary Pallbearers Otis Lee White, Robert White, L.C. West, Cleo West, Larry West, and Danny Ray Wilkins.

Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Boydell, AR.

Visitation 4:00-5:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2022 at Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg, AR.
