Mrs. Evelyn Elizabeth Tate, age 59, of Crossett, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her residence in Crossett, AR. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a homemaker, and of the Baptist Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Ollie Mae Goree-Parker; two brothers, George Parker Jr. and Gregory Parker; one sister, Shirley Ann Parker.  Evelyn loved her family and was a joy to be around.

She  is survived by her husband, Jimmy Tate; two sons, David Dupree (Claudia) of Crossett, AR; and JerMario Tate (Charisse) of North Little Rock, AR; three brothers, Larry Keith, Ronnie Parker (Cheryl), and Rickey Parker all of Crossett, AR; three sisters, Deborah Parker-Moore, Hazel Parker, and Judy Parker-Chatman all of Crossett, AR; three grandchildren, Je'Rissa Tate, Tynasha Dupree, and Tiandra Dupree;  a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Westview Cemetery in Crossett, AR with Minister Derek Hayes, officiating.  Honorary Pallbearers are Shawn Keith, Cedrick Keith, Elias Duncan, Tyrone Moore, Terrence Greene, Chad Parker, Stanton James, Jamaal Watson, Darius Chatman and Treyveon Chatman.

There will be no visitation.
