Evelyn LaJune Simpson, age 68 of Hamburg, AR transitioned on Thursday January 4, 2024, at The Woods of Monticello Health and Rehabilitation Center in Monticello, AR. She was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and a member of Full Gospel Church Of God In Christ. She was a Custodian in the Hamburg School District for many years.

Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her mother Bernice Foster and stepfather Eddie Foster, her father Robert Hubbard, grandson Za'Kendrick Battle, maternal grandparents Willliam and Annie Tippitt. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who had a deep love for music.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 39 years Jessie Simpson, three sons, William Tippitt of Hamburg, Johnny Brandon, Jr. of Bastrop, LA, Fredrick Brandon of Conway, AR, one daughter Sasandra Brandon of Arlington, TX, four brothers Ricky Tippitt of Hamburg, Ronald "BoBo" Hubbard "Marilyn" of Hamburg, and Patrick Hubbard of Norwood, MA, and Adophus Foster of Crossett, AR, one sister Alveria Daniels "Rick" of Fountain Hill, AR, seven grandchildren, William Gray, Cassondra Franklin, Shavondra Triplett, Jamesha Brandon, Laporsha Franklin, Kevious Simpson, and Jair Jackson, ten greatgrandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Friday January 12, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ephraim Johnson officiating. Pallbearers are William Gray, Walter Jenkins, Derrick Cromwell, Willie Cromwell, Jr., Kenneth Triplett, and Darrial Brown. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home Inc of Hamburg.

Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home on Thursday January 11, 2024.
