Mrs. Ethel Lee Pippen, 92 of Hamburg, AR passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Jones, LA, a resident of Hamburg for the past 75 years, a homemaker, and a member of the Soldiers Chapel A.M.E Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Preston Clyde Pippen (May 1990); one daughter: Dorothy Rena Pippen (July 2009); and her parents: Walter and Emma Williams-Harris. Mrs. Pippen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, cooking, and talking with friends on the phone. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by six sons: Billy Clyde Pippen, wife Delois of Hamburg, AR; Carl Pippen, wife Glenda of Houston, TX; Ronnie Pippen and Jimmy Pippen both of Hamburg, AR; Donald Pippen, wife Paula of Wilmar, AR; and Scottie Pippen, wife Larsa of Fort Lauderdale, FL; five daughters: Barbara Kendricks of Chicago, IL; Faye Tucker, husband Clarence of Hamburg, AR; Raye Robinson of Hamburg, AR; Sharon Pippen of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Kimberly Pippen of Hamburg, AR; one sister: Dorothy Newson of Los Angeles, CA; special childhood friend: Ruby Norris of Bastrop, LA; twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of family, friends and loved ones.

Services are 11:00AM Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Gwain Hammock and Rev. O. Jerome Green, officiating. Pallbearers are Earnest "Pete" Jacob, Gary Williamson, John Ware, Lee Troy Ware, Walter Jenkins, and Lee Nimmer. Honorary Pallbearers are Grandsons. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
