Mrs. Erma Louise Stafford, 84 of Crossett, AR, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Lifetouch Hospice House in El Dorado. Mrs. Stafford was a native of Hamburg, AR, and a resident of Crossett for the past 44 years, a homemaker, and a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Jeffers in 1979, her husband Lester Stafford in 1994, three infant daughters, one granddaughter, Renee Jeffers, her parents, Grover & Dalitha Ann Cessor, five brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by four sons: J.L., wife Mary Jeffers, Charles, wife Angela Jeffers & Jerry Wayne, wife Becky Jeffers all of Crossett, AR and Carl Jr., wife Gail Jeffers of Hamburg, AR, two daughters, Margaret, husband Ray Robinson of Bastrop, LA, Jane, husband Mac McClain of Hamburg, AR, two brothers, Rowby Cessor of Shreveport, LA & Howard Cessor of McGehee, AR, four sisters, Edith Gulledge of Heber Springs, AR, Erma Smith of Gould, AR, Aline Swinford of Dumas, AR & Cathy Irons of Wilmar, AR, a special friend, Ed Vail, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services are Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Egypt Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Boykin, Bro. Jerry Carter and Bro. Ferrell Breshears, officiating. Visitation Friday, October 3, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Wayne McClain, Matthew Jeffers, Chad Hampton, Blake Kubiak, Patrick Duke & Perry Clark. Burial in Rolfe Chapel Cemetery.
