Ms. Emma Jean Bass, 52 of Wilmot, AR died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Wilmot and an employee of DeYampert's Gin. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Wilmot. She was preceded in death by her father: William Lindsey 'Jack' Bass; two brothers: John William Bass and William Lindsey Bass Jr.; two sisters: Annie Pearl Clark and Helen Marie Brown.

She is survived by two sons: Carlos Bass of North Little Rock, AR and Eric Bass and wife Carmen of Jacksonville, AR; three daughters: Tonya Bass of Wilmot, AR, Erica Bass of Bonita, LA, and Deandriea Bass of Conway, AR; three stepsons: Randal Shelton and wife Shurunn of Pine Bluff, AR, Robert Whitaker and wife Christy of Monticello, AR, and Nathaniel Shelton of Wilmot, AR; two stepdaughters: Lawanda Whitaker and Cashawana Whitaker of Wilmot, AR; her mother: Viola Bass of Wilmot, AR; three brothers: Jimmy Bass and wife Ruth of Kilburne, LA, Albert 'A.B.' Bass and Lamar Bass and wife Sandra of Wilmot, AR; one sister: Mary Brooks and husband Lacey of Wilmot, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Wilmot, AR with Rev. James Crockett officiating. Pallbearers are Jimmy Stanley, Charles Raino, Chris Owens, William Lewis, Steven Brooks, and Larry Waters. Interment will be at St. Martha Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
