Mrs. Eliza Mae Smith, 61 of Lacey, AR, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. She was a native of Drew County, a homemaker and a member of House of Prayer Ministries in Fountain Hill, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Gessery and Erma Lee Withers Junior, two sisters Willie Jean Junior and infant Arlene Junior.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Earnest "Bulldog" Smith, three sons, Leander Jenkins, Jr., and Johnny Hall both of Lacey, AR, Earnest Smith Jr., wife JoAnn of Crossett, AR, three daughters, Sherry Lambert of Lacey, AR, Darlene Craigen of Southhaven, MS, Sharon Caldwell of Crossett, AR, one sister, Twylia Plummer of Warren, AR, god-daughter, Remona McBride of Ridgland, MS, and a special niece whom she helped raise, Stacey Wilson of Crossett, AR, fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 11:00 am at House of Prayer with Pastor Louise Miller, officiating. Pallbearers are Ephraim Franklin, Alphonso Franklin, Anthony Wilson, Chad Johnson, Jerry Simpson and Corey Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Hall, Earnest Smith, Jr., Cleo Withers, Nicholas Wilson, Christopher Jenkins and Bennie Jenkins. Visitation Tuesday, February 21 from 6-8 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home. Burial in Lacey Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
