Mrs. Elaine Jenkins-Lewis, 60 of Hamburg, AR, died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at her home in Hamburg. She was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, a homemaker, a former Ashley County Area Agency van driver, and a member of Christ Temple Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Jenkins enjoyed working in her flowers and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoover Lewis who past December 2008, one son Dennis Olden Mcquay, parents, Bennie and Johnnie Mae Miller-Jenkins, four brothers, John Earl, and Jesse Griffin, Leander, and Lavaughn Jenkins, and one sister, Mary Jenkins.

She is survived by two sisters, Earlene Jenkins-Lowery, Los Angeles, CA Bennie Clora Walton of Monticello, AR, one brother-in-law, Joseph Carlton of Montrose, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Funeral services are Friday, February 10, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Toney III officiating. Pallbearers are Bennie Lee Jenkins, Jr., Leander Jenkins, Jr., Troy Webb, Emmanuel Jenkins, Samuel Walter, Brandon Lambert, and Derrick Johnson. Visitation is Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial in Lacey Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
